Festival/ Charity Pieces

Every year I try to participate in the Canadian Stone Carving Festival.  The festival moves around a little but for the last couple of years it has been in Montreal where the atmosphere is just fantastic as it is held in Old Montreal.  The festival brings together 40+ carvers, hand tools only, and we have a task to create something within 20 hours starting on Friday afternoon and finishing by lunch time on Sunday.  These pieces are then auctioned with proceeds going to charity.  This is a gallery of some of the pieces I have created over the years.

I have also contributed to the Beyond The House fundraising related to Art programmes in the Russell area and that is shown here too.
