Where Attention Goes Energy Flows …

Happy New Year one and all!  2023 is here but where did 2022 go? !

I don’t know about you but when January comes around its time to evaluate and think about the year ahead.  There is a lot of negativity in the world these last few years so I try to start off the year thinking of phrases to keep me positive – start as you mean to go on and all that!

The first phrase I have been inspired by is something Adrienne Mishler from the  ‘Yoga with Adrienne’ website said in one of her videos:

Where attention goes energy flows.

She is so right.  Its easy to get into a negative state of mind but how much better to have our energy flow in a positive direction?  So with it being a new year I am in the process of carving this phrase on a 25″ x 5″ piece of Nova Scotian slate.  

I decided to complete the carving on the reverse side of the slate since it has these amazing colours and patterns – it makes you think of energy when you see it.  Hopefully it will polish up nicely and be quite stunning.  An experiment in progress shall we say as its the first time I have used this particular slate.
